The German Russian collaboration, especially in the field of science and research, has a long tradition and is an inherent part of bilateral relations between the countries. Both governments place a great value on the consolidation and continuing development of their relation, supported by the already signed government declaration over the strategic partnership between Germany and Russia. Another important step is the decision of implementing the German-Russian Year of Education, Science and Innovation 2011/2012, starting this summer.
For years the collaboration in Biotechnology has been the central topic of scientific relations between Germany and Russia. From October 11 to 13, 2011 the largest European trade show for Biotechnology - BIOTECHNICA - will take place in Hannover. The exhibition offers an ideal platform to present the already established bilateral activities among ministries, research facilities, universities, companies and single scientists to the wide specialist audience as well as the journalists and the politicians. Feel free to have a look at all the related activities which will take place during BIOTECHNICA 2011, in Hannover and in Celle. We do hope our program is of interest to you!
