The specialist symposium known as "Biotechnological Innovation in Food" will focus on the latest developments in legislation and how to handle statutory directives. Prof. Dr. Klaus-Dieter Jany, member of the CEF Panel of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), will introduce participants from the food industry to the area and identify opportunities available to the food retailing market.
It will also provide an overview of food allergens, potential risks and limit values and will examine detection processes for identifying food allergens.
The symposium will be held from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on 12 October in the Convention Center.
