Note: Due to construction work, the expressway Messeschnellweg (A37) is closed at the Hannover-Misburg junction in both directions from 18 September until about 9 October. This is likely to cause considerable inconvenience and delays when approaching or leaving the exhibition center, particularly for those coming from the north, east or west. To avoid traffic jams, please use the following alternate routes.
From the north: Via autobahn A7: Stay on A7 (do NOT exit onto Messeschnellweg A37!) until junction Hannover-Anderten. Exit there onto Südschnellweg B65 in direction of Hannover/Messe.
Via autobahn A37 (later Messeschnellweg, i.e. the expressway which is blocked): Exit A37 early, at junction Hannover-Kirchhorst, switching to autobahn A7 in the direction of Kassel/Hannover. Exit A7 at Hannover-Anderten and take Südschnellweg B65 in direction of Hannover/Messe.
From the east Via autobahn A2: Proceed in direction of Hannover/Dortmund until junction Hannover-Ost, then switch to autobahn A7 in direction of Kassel/Hannover. Exit A7 at Hannover-Anderten and take Südschnellweg B65 in direction of Hannover/Messe.
From the south: Motorway A7 direction Hannover/Hamburg, take the exit 60 Dreieck Hannover-Süd to motorway A37 (B3 Messe-Schnellweg) direction Hannover/Messe
From the west Via autobahn A2: Proceed in direction of Hannover/Magdeburg/Berlin until junction Hannover-Ost, then switch to autobahn A7 in direction of Kassel/Hannover. Exit A7 at Hannover-Anderten and take Südschnellweg B65 in direction of Hannover/Messe.
All detours are signposted, and LED boards provide early warnings about the recommended alternate routes.
